I spent the weekend in the Gila National Forest with my son, brothers and my dad. My dad, Austin and I drove up. We left about 3 A.M. on Thursday morning. My brother Ben flew into Phoenix, met up with my other brother Joel, and they drove the RV from there.

It was a blast.

We don’t know exactly what caused her to get sick, but she didn’t respond well to treatments, and even the feeding tube didn’t work.
It’s been a long time since I have lost a pet, and I didn’t realize how much I would miss her.

The boys were awarded the honors they earned during summer day camp, and then performed a small service project, picking up and sweeping up around the pool.

After that, we all got to swim!
