Exercise, GFuel, RackerGamers, MIB

A good Monday. (9th)
Late start to the day. Did exercise first thing, though.
Finally got to try out my GFuel, it came in the mail yesterday. Apparently, my Extra Life special order got cancelled due to some error with my debit card. Called them about a week ago, and got it all straightened out.
Had a RackerGamers Board/Post Event meeting. Discussed several topics on what went well, and what we can improve for next year. I think mostly it comes down to starting planning earlier.
Watched MIB2 with our younger son before bed.

A quiet Sunday. (8th)
Exercised first thing this morning.
Went to the library to drop off some media.
Picked up Jill’s sister to play some Pokémon Go.
Ate Rudy’s BBQ, we were in the area when we got hungry.
Dropped off Jill’s sister, then came home.
Ended the evening by playing some hours of Minecraft with my younger son.

Work, Hyperdrive, Friends, Switch

A good Saturday. (7th).
Jill and our younger son left early today for a craft show in Wimberly.
Regular work day for me.
Watched Hyperdrive Season 1. It’s a reality show about trick drivers and strong cars. I’m not usually one for reality shows, but… I mean, cars, right?
Jill got home late from the craft show due to some major traffic. She did pretty well at the show, but she was exhausted when she got home.
Had a friend and his son over to hang out for a bit. Had pizza for dinner.
After they left I played on the Switch a bit, catching up on the news, newly released games, etc. played a bit of Super Kirby Clash.
Time for bed.

Work, Holiday Party

A good Friday. (6th)
Regular work day for me. Exercised first thing this morning.
Finished watching all the extras for John Wick 3.
Rackspace’s Holiday Party was tonight. Jill and I attended, sans our youngest son. The theme was Circus. They had some great snack bars, not “dinner” but sliders, large pretzels, Frito pie, etc. They also had a bunch of animals there. A capybara, a lemur, some snakes, a bearded dragon and some other cool stuff, too.
A good time was had by us.

Work, Wick, Blue Belt, Jims

A good Thursday. (5th)
Regular work day for me.
Worked on both my primary and secondary project. Got some good stuff done.
Watched John Wick 3: Parabellum. Good movie.
Our younger son tested and made his blue belt this evening. Awesome!
Played a litle Pokemon Go, but mostly hung out at Jill’s sister’s work, Jim’s restaurant.

A good Wednesday. (4th)
Regular workday for me.
Physical therapy first thing. So tiring. Good, but tiring.
Worked on catching up on email for the first half of today, then worked on my secondary (documentation) project. Good stuff.
Found out the DC Fontana passed away today. Sad.
Had a great lunch, my wife brought me food at work. Yum.
After work, we played a bit of Pokémon Go, and then made a concerted attempt to locate some unfortunate travelers who might need some help. We located two, both were very grateful for our help.

Lunch, Airport, Robotics, Movie

A good Tuesday. (3rd)
Exercised this morning.
Crazy Tuesday, as normal.
Lunch was BBQ Frito Pie, then I took my parents to the airport. Their trip is over and they have to head home. We didn’t have anything super special planned out, no real trips or anything besides the Johnson City lighting, but we got to spend time together. It was nice having them here for a few days.
We had a full house for robotics today, that was great. The middle school team made some good progress on their robot. Our competition is only a couple of weeks away. We also planned for the teams to come back tomorrow and get some more work in. Once a week isn’t really enough close to competition.
Our younger son had martial arts, then I watched a movie with Jill, then time for bed.

Exercise, Ft. Sam, Family

A good Monday. (2nd)
Exercised first thing this morning.
Went to visit Vince’s gravesite, at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. While we were there, we also visited Jill’s grandfather’s grave. We decorated Vince’s grave with some white Carnations, in remembrance. I miss my brother, but I was glad to be there with family, and the weather was perfect.
The cemetery is huge, but still has lots of room left, which I guess is good, since we’re going to stay at war forever, apparently.
Grabbed some quick lunch from Popeye’s on the way home, then had a quiet little lunch at home.
Worked on some customer computers after lunch, for just about the rest of the night.
Spent some time talking my with dad and Jill before bed.

Library, Lounged, NDI, Nicha’s

A good Sunday. (Dec 1st)
Slept in.
Took a trip to the library to return items and pick up some holds.
Lounged around the house mostly today.
Our friend who’s staying with is needed some help with his computer, he was having some issues with NDI. We tried a bunch of stuff before we found the issue. Essentially, he’s using NDI to stream his gaming PC to his laptop for StreamLabs OBS. What wasn’t happening is the NDI capture for SLOBS wasn’t showing up consistently from his gaming PC. We were able to make it consistently show up by disabling his unused network interfaces, disabling IPv6, and running the “NDI Studio” app on the receiving laptop after a reboot of either PC.
My sister from Arizona is working in town this week, so my family, and my parents, who are still staying with us went to dinner with her. We went to Nicha’s. Good Tex-Mex.
Came home to have some egg nog and hang out before bed.

Breakfast, Family, Star Citizen

A good Saturday. (30th)
Exercised first thing this morning.
Went to breakfast at IHOP with my parents, and my brother’s widow, her 3 youngest kids, and one of her older ones and his wife and kid. It was a great time.
Came back to the house, and played some Star Citizen.

I don’t often have Saturdays off, so I was able to take advantage and play during an event that my org Synchronizerz was hosting. We had a scavenger hunt, in the Stanton system, and I came in either 5th or 6th place, out of about 30 people who started. There were only 2 prizes, though. This was the second annual scavenger hunt.
Worked on some computers remotely for a couple of customers of mine, then watched a movie with Jill. My younger son played Minecraft on his computer with a friend of his on our server.
Worked on a couple more computers, before bed.
